Our Mission

We are a not-for-profit farm with a dual mission. We are caring f0r the rare livestock we currently foster as we imagine bringing other livestock onboard.

We are also seeking to provide a farm experience for mainers with the desire. We hope to establish a 4-H program for younger farmers. This will require mentors able to train in the 4-H model.

All are welcome! Take a tour, enjoy a growing petting zoo, come more regularly and help with farm tasks and animal care. Maybe even join our board and help steer SMF into the future.
